I'm officially skiing on the downhill slope of "Rock Angel." Climax has been written and we are full speed ahead.
I have four lovely teenage girls here in Coweta that have volunteered to read my first 15 chapters and give me much needed feedback. I'm honored they are so excited to read my manuscript thus far.
My sweet, talented 10 year old niece decided that Aunt Jody needed a cover for her book and made one for me as well. I think it is one of the most special things anyone has ever created for me. I died! She captured the essence of "Rock Angel" just by me telling her what the basis of the book was.
It's been a great week. I turn 50 tomorrow, but my life is anything but boring (and half over!) I can't wait to see what the future will bring.
Here's to cutting back on carbs, but eating birthday cake at every opportunity, sore muscles, but being grateful that I can still run (or walk very fast) around the block, an amazing, beautiful, adventurous family, and reading glasses (in lots of fun colors) in every room. Here's to 50!
ROCK ANGEL COVER ART
BY ELLA HARMON
And here's to sweet nieces that make priceless artwork for their Aunties.
This "Rock Angel" cover will be color copied and tucked into my manuscript to go with me everywhere~
