Here is the recipe for the Green Smoothie recipe that Forrest made for me. They are super-duper healthy and very delicious. Just close your eyes and sip, if the green freaks you out. You can not even taste the spinach. If your feeling under the weather, blend a batch of these up to get a boost in your immunity system---lots of nutrients in a refreshing and satisfying drink. 1/2 cup frozen strawberries 1 banana 1/2 cup of plain or vanilla Greek yogurt 1-2 cups of baby spinach 1 scoop of vanilla or cinnamon protein powder a splash of (no sugar added) apple juice a couple ice cubes (depending on how frosty you like your smoothies) Blend, enjoy and be healthy! |
